About Redbourn RC Model Flyers
Who We Are
A small and informal affiliated BMFA Club of like minded hobbyists who share this private flying site on a working farm near the village of Redbourn, Hertfordshire. We have access to excellent facilities on site including wild camping, glamping, toilets, a micro brewery and easy parking.
Membership
We have a small number of memberships available for experienced RC model pilots who are members of the BMFA and hold a relevant achievement qualification. We operate any of the popular disciplines: Fixed Wing, Helicopters, Control Line, RC Cars, Drones and Silent Flight. The only discipline we cannot accommodate is Gas Turbine powered aircraft. Our Flying Site
The patch is 100 meters x 50 meters of close mowed grass, with easy parking. The patch is open on 3 sides with no obstructions and oriented into the prevailing wind. It is well drained and available 7 days a week 52 weeks of
the year. Due to the small number of cmembers you will never have to queue for a flight slot.
